WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The funeral for the former Woodford County sheriff and judge executive who died earlier this week is set.
John “Bear” Coyle served as a judge executive in the county since 2007.
Before that he worked in law enforcement for many years.
Coyle’s funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Versailles Methodist Church.
The Woodford County Courthouse and all county government buildings will be closing at 1 p.m. Friday to allow all county employees to attend the service.
