Lexington Police Seek Suspects In Shoplifting Ring

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Do you recognize any of the individuals in this video?

Lexington police are working to identify a group of five people who coordinated the theft of hundreds of dollars in merchandise from a local store.

The alleged organized shoplifters were caught on camera stealing from Vengeance in Fayette Mall.

An officer was dispatched to the store on October 23.

Surveillance video shows that a group of two women and three men, ranging in possible age from late teens to 40s, concealed several pairs of pants in what appeared to be other shopping bags.

When confronted in the mall parking lot, an employee reported that one of the men displayed a handgun and fled in a car with an out-of-state license plate.
