LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3) – The man shot and killed by officers Wednesday night in Louisville has been identified.

According to our sister station WAVE 3, the man who allegedly fired shots at officers and was subsequently killed by police is Benjamin Kennedy, 35.

The officers who fired their weapons were named as William Mattingly and Dallas Constant. The initial call was a domestic dispute.

LMPD officials released officer body-camera video of the incident. The video was dark so it was difficult to make things out, but the audio was clear of the multiple gunshots that were fired.
