WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Following the sudden passing of Woodford Co. Judge-Executive and former Sheriff John Bear Coyle, citizens are collecting food donations in his memory.

Coyle served as a judge-executive in the county since 2007. Before that, he worked in law enforcement for many years.

In honor of his commitment to his community,  friends and family of Coyle are asking for donations to their local food pantry.

Donations of canned goods can be dropped off at Woodford County Sheriff’s Office, Versailles Police Department, Shelter Insurance and Workout Anytime.

All donations will be dropped off at county food banks at the end of January.
