ENDICOTT, Ky. (LEX 18) – Kentucky State Police are investigating after one person was killed in a house fire.
The fire was reported at 6 a.m. at a home on KY Rt. 3385. Troopers and fire crews responded to the home after receiving word that someone may still be inside.
A search of the structure was made and an arson investigator confirmed one body was recovered from the scene.
The victim’s body will be sent to the Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. No foul play is suspected at this time.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
