ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– People in Lawrenceburg will be honoring the New Jersey woman credited with foiling a planned school attack in their Christmas parade tomorrow.

Police say that Koeberle Bull stopped a likely school shooting in the area. Since then, she has received thanks from so many people in Kentucky, but to show her just how grateful this community is, they’re flying her and her three kids down for the Christmas parade. There, she’ll get to once again see Trooper Josh Satterly, the officer who took her report seriously.

Organizers of the parade say that they expect a big crowd.

“The parade was probably going to be a big draw anyway, but I think her being in the parade will bring people out here who want to wave at her and thank her,” said Anderson County Tourism Commission Executive Director Kendall Clinton.

Bull will be going around the area at the parade to see as many people as possible.
