LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police were investigating two incidents in which people were robbed in their own homes overnight.

Police said they do not believe the incidents were related, but the calls came in to police about three minutes apart.

Police say a juvenile suspect robbed a woman at her apartment on Red Mile Road. He apparently knew the woman. Police said he pulled a gun on the woman and demanded money, making off with an undisclosed amount.

Police also were looking for a woman who they say robbed someone on Cambridge Drive. The woman apparently knocked on someone’s door and pulled a knife on the man who answered it.

She demanded money and fled after taking an undisclosed amount.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robberies to call 859-258-3600.
