LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) – Louisville Metro Police are known for their active social media presence.  So, it’s no surprise that Monday’s post about a goat rescue has already been widely shared across Facebook.

According to the post, officers received a call about a pair of goats walking alongside busy I-265. For 20 minutes, police attempted to corral the pair. They were eventually able to capture the animals by coaxing them with BBQ flavored corn chips.

“The owner of the goats was eventually found and we ubered them back home. They agreed that walking on the interstate was a baaaaaad idea,” reads the post.

The animals were returned safe and sound.
