Photo Shows Fmr. Pres. Bush With Slain State Trooper

(KSP) Kentucky State Police and a First Responders dedication Facebook page shared a photo of Former President Bush meeting a state trooper who was killed in the line of duty.

It’s unclear if the photograph was taken when Bush was vice-president or was the president-elect, but the photo shows Bush shaking hands with KSP Trooper Johnny Edrington.

Edrington was shot and killed with his own weapon during a traffic stop on December 21, 1988.

No one was ever charged in the case.
