BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A newspaper had to set up at a hotel after a wreck caused a power outage in its building.

The Advocate-Messenger reports the wreck happened Thursday morning at the corner of South 4th Street and Figg Alley in Danville.

The building where the Advocate-Messenger is located had to be evacuated due to the outage and a fire hazard.

The newspaper’s editor and publisher arranged for the staff to set up a temporary office at the nearby Holiday Inn Express.

Power was later restored in the building and the staff was able to move back in Thursday night.
