LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lextran will offer free rides to, and through, the Southern Lights Festival at the Kentucky Horse Park on Dec. 11 as an early holiday gift to customers.
Buses will depart the downtown Transit Center at 7 p.m. Once the buses leave the Transit Center passengers will not get off until the buses return downtown, as the Southern Lights Festival is a driving tour.
Southern Lights was started more than 20 years ago and aimed to attract the local community to the horse park. Today, the event boasts over three miles of lights and attracts more than 120,000 visitors annually.
