LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly stabbed another woman.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. outside of a home on Versailles Road.
Police say the victim told them that Jawna Cox stabbed her left arm with either a box cutter or pocket knife.
They say the suspect’s boyfriend also told them Cox had a knife and stabbed the victim.
We’re told the victim’s injury was serious.
Cox is charged with assault.
