Pedestrian Injured In Hit-Run On Lexington’s North Side

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police are investigating after a vehicle struck a pedestrian and fled late Saturday night on the city’s north side.

Authorities say the incident happened just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Nicholasville and Russell Cave roads.

A woman was in the roadway at a crosswalk when she was struck.

Officials said the woman was not seriously injured but was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.

The vehicle involved was described as a white passenger car.

Lexington police are asking anyone with information about the case to call authorities.
