BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WNKY)– Police were called to a home Sunday night after someone reported a shooting.
It happened around 8:27 p.m. on Moonlite Avenue.
Officials tell WNKY a juvenile was shot and another juvenile is the suspect in the shooting.
Authorities say neither the victim nor the shooter lived at the address. They were both visiting the home at the time of the shooting. One other juvenile was inside the home at that time.
Police obtained signed consent to search the home where they recovered a weapon.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, but was unable to be airlifted to a trauma center in Tennessee due to foggy weather conditions.
No details have been released about the boy’s condition.
Police are still searching for the suspect in the shooting.
