EDGEWOOD, Ky. (WLWT) — A middle school in Northern Kentucky has joined the list of schools that have recently been the target of threats.
Turkey Foot Middle School sent word to parents Monday night that a student has been charged with terroristic threatening for a video that threatened harm against specific students.
Principal Holly Spritzky said parents of the students named in the video contacted the school.
The student who made the video was approached and showed it to an administrator, the school said.
Police were later called to that student’s home and the student was charged.
While school officials say there is no credible threat, there will still be extra police on campus as a precaution.
No further details about the suspected student were made available.
