LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Motorists were experiencing big backups and delays Wednesday on Interstate Highway 75 south of Lexington, due to repair work being done on the Clays Ferry Bridge over the Kentucky River.
The southbound lanes are most affected.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet say the work is scheduled to last through 3 p.m.
The agency says the work is routine repair work to the bridge deck.
