LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire near downtown Lexington.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night on Ross Avenue.
Officials say the house is divided into three apartments, and all of them have smoke and water damage.
One person was inside at the time. They were taken to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.
A pet was also rescued and released to its owner.
Firefighters say the house isn’t a loss, but the people living there were displaced at least for the night.
