Danville Police Investigating Home Invasion, Two Arrests Made

DANVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) –  Two juveniles are in custody after a home invasion at a Danville apartment complex.

According to officials, officers were called out to a unit at the Holladay Square apartment complex.

Two unknown male subjects forced entry inside the victim’s apartment after he opened the door upon hearing subjects talking outside. Both perpetrators produced handguns and demanded money from the victim.

After the victim repeatedly told them there was no money in the house, both subjects fled.

Officers later located two individuals in the area matching the description of the suspects. Both individuals were detained and through the course of the investigation, officers charged the two male juveniles 

A 17-year-old male was charged with Burglary 1st degree, Attempted Robbery 1st degree, and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. A 15-year-old male was charged with Burglary 1st degree and Attempted Robbery 1st Degree.

Police recovered two semi-automatic pistols.
