HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Christmas came early for a young Henderson County boy who’s fascinated with garbage trucks.
2-year-old Remington has a profound obsession with garbage trucks, which started this past summer.
He also shares a personal bond with the local sanitation workers.
They say he is always asking them questions and admiring their work.
On Wednesday, Remington’s friends decided to give him a Christmas present in the form of a ride in the garbage truck.
“He bosses us up and down the street…tells us make sure we put the lids on the cans and everything.”
Remington’s mother says she hopes he gets some life lessons out of the experience.
