LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Thousands of gifts have been selected at the Faith and Community Christmas Store this year, which means thousands of kids will have something to open on Christmas morning.

The 23rd Annual Faith and Community Christmas Store has everything from donated toys, stocking stuffers, and clothes.

“It’s another Christmas miracle. I tell you, our community is such a wonderful and compassionate community,” said Ginny Ramsey, the Catholic Action Center Director.

People picked up tickets to shop and then they could choose anything they like. So far, thousands of families have been through the store to make sure every child has a present to open Christmas morning.

“There will be over 4,200 families. We won’t know until we finish because you know, the grandmother comes and she’s shopping for three families,” she said.

Volunteers say that what makes this store so special is the environment. They say that everyone gets to shop just like they would in any department store.
