LEWIS COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ)– Two inmates who escaped from the Lewis County Detention Center have been caught in central Ohio, according to the local sheriff’s office.
Paul Napier and Brandon Long were arrested Thursday night along with one other person in the car after a lengthy police chase.
The chase started in the Columbus area and went through several Ohio counties.
It ended on Interstate 71 in Ashland, Ohio.
Both men escaped custody at about 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon after a power outage caused an outside door to open.
Both had been convicted on burglary charges.
