LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are investigating the robberies of several pizza delivery drivers…and all the robbers got were pizzas.

The first happened around 11 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex near the intersection of Red Mile Road and Versailles Road.

Police say the Domino’s Pizza employee came to a unit to deliver the pizza when three men answered the door.

They say one of the suspects punched the victim before all three ran off with the pizza.

We’re told that particular unit is vacant.

Police say the driver wasn’t hurt.

The other happened about an hour later in the 400-block of Kenton Street.

Police say the delivery driver for Sir Pizza got out of his car when a man came out from between two houses.

They say the suspect showed a handgun and took the pizza before running away.

We’re told the victim was not hurt.

The suspect is described as skinny, wearing a gray hoodie, with dreadlocks.

Police say it’s unclear if the two robberies are related.
