Sheriff: Man Arrested After Throwing Christmas Ham

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – A Laurel County man is in jail after he allegedly assaulted a family member with a Christmas ham.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff, the arrest occurred at a home off Love Road. Officials say that David D. Brannon attempted to flee when deputies arrived.

Deputies say an assault allegedly occurred following an argument over what day the family was having Christmas dinner when this individual began throwing items at the female victim including the ham for the dinner.

Brannon was charged with assault – 4th degree and fleeing or evading police.
