ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Following multiple overdoses, officials in Rowan County are warning of a potentially dangerous batch of heroin.
Rowan County Sheriff’s officials posted on their Facebook page that EMS had responded to two overdoses on Christmas morning.
“If you have family members or friends using heroin please contact them immediately and ask them not to use any product recently acquired,” reads the post.
They say that they also responded to another heroin overdose at the end of last week and believe that there has been an influx of drugs brought into the area.
