PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of a woman who was found unresponsive in a field in Perry County.
30-year-old April N. Higgins, of Sassafras, was found Monday off Highway 476 near the Bulan Post Office.
Higgins was transported to the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased by the Perry County Coroner’s Office.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort.
