JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) -A man was successfully rescued from the Kentucky River following an accident with his kayak.
According to officials, the man hit his head while in the boat. He managed to call his wife who called 911 on his behalf.
The man was trapped on the Garrard County side of the river, but crews managed to successfully pull him back to the Sulphur Well Boat Dock
