Wind Knocks Down Construction Wall At Summit Fritz Farm

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Strong winds in the Bluegrass knocked down a construction wall of a store at The Summit at Fritz Farm.

There is still construction happening at the new Williams-Sonoma location at the shopping center.  A wind gust blew down the temporary wall, causing debris to fall into the street.

Caution cones were placed around the mess.

Kentucky Mesonet, located across the street from the Summit at Fritz Farm, clocked a wind gust at 44 MPH around the time this is said to have happened.
