(LEX 18)- Strong wind gusts overnight caused storm damage around the Bluegrass. Today, residents are working to clean up the mess left behind.
In Lexington, a construction wall at the Summit at Fritz Farm was blown down scattering debris into the roadway. Kentucky Mesonet measured a 44 MPH wind gust just across the street around the time the collapse happened.
A house had a close call with a tree in Berea. The tree snapped near a woman’s home.
High winds blew the roof off a boat storage facility in Wayne County. Amazingly, none of the boats inside were damaged.
