LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A driver is uninjured after wrecking into a swollen creek Monday morning.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. on Winchester Road near Polo Club.
Officials say he got himself out of the vehicle after a brief struggle to get the door opened.
He was picked up by a family member and went home.
Police could not elaborate on what caused the crash. The car will be removed when conditions allow.
