Police: Georgetown Woman Hit Vehicle In Bar Parking Lot, Fled

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (Georgetown News-Graphic) — Police charged a Georgetown woman with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident after she allegedly hit a parked car in a bar’s parking lot.

The Georgetown News-Graphic reports 25-year-old Lori Leigh Ann Barnhill was arrest Thursday evening after being stopped at Champion Way and Cincinnati Pike.

Officials said prior to the arrest, Barnhill backed her vehicle into another car in the parking lot of Tipsy Cow Bar. The owner of the hit vehicle took down Barnhill’s licence plate number and notified police.

Police said Barnhill failed a field sobriety test and smelled strongly of alcohol. Authorities say a pipe containing THC wax also was found in the vehicle.

Barnhill also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic violations.
