LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3) – Louisville had its first homicide of 2019 three hours into the new year.
According to WAVE 3 News, the call was dispatched at 3:15 a.m. in the Parkland neighborhood.
Officers found a deceased man in an alley near the parking lot across from Cole’s Place nightclub, which closed in November. Police say there were no witnesses, and it’s unknown if there was a New Year’s Eve event at the former nightclub.
The victim is described as a black male, in his 20′s or 30′s. His name has not been released.
