LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– An individual is wanted by police after they reportedly almost struck an officer.
It happened around midnight when the officer tried to conduct a traffic stop for a possible DUI.
Police say the driver drove off down Nancy Hanks Road–a one way street. When the driver came back, they nearly struck the officer.
Neither the officer nor the cruiser were hit.
Police say they did not pursue because they know who the suspect is and are getting warrants for arrest.
