WKYM reports that 18-year-old Dylan Mason agreed to the deal in Wayne County Circuit Court concerning the fatal shooting of Matthew Young.
The agreement, if approved, will give Mason a 10-year prison sentence on charges of second-degree manslaughter, second-degree robbery and tampering with evidence.
A final sentencing hearing is scheduled for Feb. 5 in Wayne County.
Mason was being held in Wayne County Detention Center.
Only days ago, on Dec. 30, Mason was accused of assaulting a fellow inmate with a broken broom handle.
An investigation into a second-degree assault charge was opened in that case.
