LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man is in jail Wednesday morning, accused of robbing a woman in her Lexington home.
Police arrested 32-year-old Andre Cowan just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Tarr Trace.
According to an arrest citation, the victim found Cowan in her living room. When she confronted him, Cowan allegedly grabbed her by the throat and demanded a bag. He then placed several of her belongings and some cash into the bag before running away.
Police say Cowan threatened the victim with a knife when she tried to confront him again.
He’s charged with robbery and burglary.
