FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (EKB News) – A Floyd County basketball coach has resigned from his coaching position following complaints that he verbally abused some of his parents.
According to Superintendent Danny Adkins, Floyd Central coach Kevin Spurlock voluntarily resigned from his coaching position at the school following the reports.
Adkins told EKB News that Spurlock is still working for the school system. He added that Spurlock was not asked or pressured to resign as coach and that he did so on his own terms.
