DWALE, Ky. (EKB) – The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department is urging residents in one community to be vigilant after reports of bears causing property damage.
Residents in a mobile home park of the Dwale Community are reporting that rogue bears are tearing up siding on homes and turning over garbage. The underpinning of one trailer was ripped out.
One report even claims a bear was spotted looking inside a family’s window.
Deputies have been patrolling during the night to help with the problem. If you spot a bear, contact the Floyd County Sheriff.
