NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Nicholasville are hoping someone can identify a burglar seen in a video they released Friday morning.
Officials said someone broke into Yamato Japanese Steak House, 200 Blueberry Lane, on Christmas Day.
“This is really a long shot as there is no nothing to help ID this person in the video,” officials said in a Facebook post. “Just hoping to get lucky and someone see something that stands out.”
In the video, the burglar is well-covered, including the face. He is seen prying open the cash register and removing money.
The amount stolen was not disclosed.
Police ask anyone with information about the theft to call authorities.
