CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18 )- The Clay County woman accused of putting her newborn baby into a trash bag and throwing him over a balcony pleaded not guilty in court Monday.
Amber Bowling appeared with her public defender to answer to the charges that stem from the murder back in December.
An autopsy showed that the baby died from injuries related to blunt-force trauma, according to the coroner. Bowling’s arrest citation said the baby had a cranial fracture, fractured ribs, and the infant’s brain had bled.
She pleaded not guilty and was given a court date of March 14 for her next hearing.
