LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ)– A man is in custody after he allegedly shot at a car, nearly hitting a young child.
Authorities say the road rage incident started Sunday in Johnson County and that Billy York allegedly fired at the car in Lawrence County.
The local sheriff says one of the bullets hit about 30 inches away from a 5-year-old passenger.
We’re told the chase exceeded speeds of more than 100 miles per hour at times.
York faces several charges including wanton endangerment.
