(LEX 18)– A Pennsylvania-based artist has created a tribute to fallen Richmond Officer Daniel Ellis.
Jonny Castro has painted a line of tributes to fallen first responders from across the country.
He first heard about Officer Ellis when Ellis’ father commented on one of his Facebook posts.
Ellis’ father, Kelly, commented on the painting of his son saying, “The work you do is absolutely amazing. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to honor our son & all of the other heroes as well. Thank you so very much.”
Castro has also painted Officer Scotty Hamilton, Detective Deidre Mengedoht, KSP Trooper Joseph Cameron Ponder, among many others.
