SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Shelby County Fire Department welcomed a new member to their squad this weekend… a Dalmatian puppy.
The pup comes to the county’s suburban fire house from the Woodstock Animal Foundation.
He spent the first day exploring his new home and getting to know his co-workers. He joined them in the “Back the Blue” ride to honor Louisville Detective Deidre Mengedogt on Saturday.
So far, the pup does not have a name but it looks like they are taking suggestions on their Facebook page.
