LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington officials said Wednesday that the city’s non-emergency phones are back up after an outage earlier.

Earlier, some government non-emergency phones, including LexCall 3-1-1 and the police non-emergency phone line, 258-3600, were out of service because of damages relating to high winds, according to the service provider.

The 9-1-1 service remained operational for citizens who need to call about an emergency.
