LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – After a bullet hole was found in the 25th floor of the Lexington Financial Center, crews were called out Thursday to repair the damage.

The initial incident happened earlier this week. A forensics team was called to the 25th floor of the Financial Center, better known as the  Fifth Third Bank building, in downtown Lexington on Monday after a bullet hole was found in one of the windows.

Police confirm the hole was caused by gunfire. Crews gathered evidence and cleared the scene.

On Thursday,  LEX 18 viewer Aaron Kinne shared video and photos of his crew fixing the bullet hole from the outside of the building.

That’s right…25 stories in the air.  Kinne said the view was wonderful.
