ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18 )- The Estill County Rescue Squad lost their service dog this week after he was found shot to death.
State police say that Charles Collins shot and killed Hunter the Bloodhound. The dog disappeared from his handler’s home and was later found dead. The rescue squad says it’s a big loss because Hunter was trained to help in searches.
Now, the organization is selling t-shirts and collecting money online to help train a new one.
The group is collecting money on GoFundMe and selling t-shirts honoring to raise money to buy and train his replacement.
