Lexington Man Arrested In Connection To Copper Wire Theft

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man has been arrested in connection to the theft of copper wire from a construction site.

According to an arrest citation, 44-year-old Jason Wallace stole the wire from the Salvation Army, located on East New Circle Road, on Dec. 10 and Dec. 14.

His image was caught on a trail camera located inside the building.

Wallace was arrested Wednesday in Lexington.

He is facing numerous charges, including three counts of third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, and first-degree fleeing or evading police.
