WINCHESTER, Ky. (LEX 18 )- A lawsuit has been filed after a man says his 12-year-old daughter was strip-searched at school.
Court documents only identify the juvenile as “K.K.” The suit alleges the girl was called to the office and forced to strip down to her underwear by the school counselor and assistant principal.
“The Plaintiff alleges that the Defendants violated her civil rights and Constitutional rights by unjustifiably, unlawfully, and recklessly performing a strip search of the Defendant while a student at Roy D. Campbell Junior High School, Winchester Kentucky,” reads the suit.
The suit does not elaborate on why the student was strip-searched. The plaintiff is seeking damages from the Board of Education and the employees involved in the case.
