FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) – Another Republican has joined the race for Governor in the Commonwealth.
William E. Woods filed paperwork to throw his name into the primary which includes Robert Goforth and unofficially, Governor Matt Bevin, who says he will file for re-election before the deadline.
Woods supports marijuana legalization, casino revenue and wants to get rid of legislative pensions.
The Corinth native is running alongside Justin B. Miller and touts a platform of “Kentucky First.”
