HENRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Henry County constable has been arrested, accused of stealing drugs from an EMS building.
The Henry County Local reports Constable Richard Jaehnigen was arrested Jan. 2 by Kentucky State Police.
Troopers say in a criminal complaint that Jaehnigen went into the Henry County EMS building and took several drugs.
KSP say they received two different calls about the crime.
When stopped, Jaehnigen told troopers that he found the medication inside a trash can in the building.
Jaehnigan was charged with burglary and illegal possession of a prescription drug.
It’s reported that he’s scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
