Danville Sex Offender Arrested For Alleged Sexually Explicit Threats

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A registered sex offender is facing charges after he allegedly made threats to a clinic, daycare, and middle school.

Police say an unknown male called Little Lighthouse Daycare, Bate Middle School, and the First Care Clinic from a blocked number and made sexually explicit threats to the employees and children.

Danville Police began working the case at 10 a.m. Wednesday after the initial calls were received. Officers and investigators were able to work with phone providers, gather evidence, and develop a suspect in the case.

The suspect, 31-year-old Jermaine Buster, was located as the passenger in a vehicle leaving the Perkins Avenue area around 3 p.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and Buster was taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with two counts of second-degree terroristic threatening and one count of third-degree terroristic threatening.
