LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Aviation Museum of Kentucky will provide free admission to federal government employees during the current government shutdown.
“We recognize the coincidence of postponed income and unanticipated available time,” said Museum Director Jill Roseberry. “Visiting the museum with no admission fee is the museum’s way to meet this situation and be supportive. We hope this helps families dealing with such a challenge.”
The only requirement for the free admission is to present your federal employee identification. This offer lasts as long as the shutdown continues.
The museum is open Tuesday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
